If you are only planning on using one planter then your best bet is to just go to your local hardware store and buy a more durable hook to hang your planter on. Make sure it can hold up to eighty pounds to give yourself a little leeway. This is a very inexpensive fix and will help your planter stay in the air where it is supposed to be.

The other method for hanging your Topsy Turvy Planter is for if you are planning on hanging multiple planters.

If you are using more then one planter then you should consider building your own support system out of wood. Making a wooden frame should only take you a couple of hours to make and chances are you have the wood already.

Make the frame to be either a square or rectangular and put it in your yard. If it’s not perfect it’s alright. The plants grow towards the sun and end up covering most of the wood. When the plants are in full swing it’s going to look phenomenal.

If you’d rather not have a bare wood frame in your yard then get creative. If you have paint then give it a few coats or do anything else you can think of to make it unique and yours.

Go ahead and spend a little time making the frame something your proud of. The planters last a long time so that few extra minutes will provide you with years of pleasure.
